Blacklink Refocuses Product Strategy; Archives Note26 and Pauses Aero.

Blacklink is concentrating development on its core infrastructure and school-facing platforms.

Blacklink today announced a strategic update to its product lineup, archiving Note26 and pausing active development of Aero. The decision follows an internal review of platform usage, performance priorities, and long-term direction.

Note26, Blacklink's private-first note-taking platform, will be archived effective immediately. While the product introduced a strong technical foundation, it did not reach the level of adoption seen across Blacklink's core systems.

Aero, Blacklink's AI assistant platform, will enter a temporary pause in development. The underlying research and infrastructure will be retained, with future iterations to be evaluated as part of Blacklink's broader platform strategy.

As the company continues to scale, Blacklink is prioritizing BellRinger, AuthPlatform, and Trust—platforms that directly support real-time school operations, identity infrastructure, and research credibility systems.

This shift allows the team to concentrate resources on reliability, performance, and deployment at scale, while maintaining a focused and sustainable product ecosystem.

All code and research from both Note26 and Aero will be preserved internally and may contribute to future features across Blacklink products.

This update does not impact existing deployments of BellRinger or other active Blacklink services.
