Blacklink Restores Core Systems Following Infrastructure Failure and Version Rollback.

Platform recovery completed after critical storage failure; services now operating in a stabilized legacy state.

Blacklink experienced a significant infrastructure failure during a recent system transition involving a critical storage device failure and operating system migration. This resulted in a temporary rollback of core services to an earlier stable platform version.

As part of the recovery process, several systems—including authentication, cross-service integrations, and newer platform features—were restored to a legacy state in order to ensure service continuity while investigation and recovery efforts continue.

The incident also impacted integration layers between Blacklink products, temporarily disabling features such as SAML-based authentication and cross-platform identity linking. Core user access and primary services remain operational.

All user data currently hosted within active systems remains intact and protected. Recovery efforts are ongoing to restore additional data from affected storage devices currently undergoing external recovery analysis.

In response to this incident, Blacklink has upgraded its deployment architecture to a containerized (Docker-based) infrastructure and deployed a new backup system designed to improve resilience, recovery speed, and system isolation in future incidents.

While some advanced features are temporarily unavailable, Blacklink services including BellRinger, Accounts, Trust, Campus, and core infrastructure systems remain online and stable.

Engineering teams are actively working to reintroduce modern integrations in a staged and controlled manner following full system validation.

We appreciate the patience of users and partners during this recovery period. Further technical updates will be shared as system restoration progresses.
